Deuteronomistic elements that are still observed to be present in the Tetrateuch. The solution is to identify one or more Deuteronomistic redactors of the Tetrateuch, probably also responsible for the combination of JE(P) with D.24 In this case, however, the redactor’s own additions begin to rival those of the other sources.
